Square Stitch

Square Stitch looks like loom work, but without using a loom. |
| Start with a needle on a thread. Tie a sloppy knot at the end so your beads won’t slide off.

Go through #8. Go back through #9. |

Go through #7. Go back through #10. |

| ((pic 5) Add beads 12 through 16 in the same manner. |

| (pic 6) Tie a square knot with the two threads. |

| The next thing to do with square stitch is a tube, or circle for a bag. (pic 8) Add the amount of beads needed to go around the size bag you want. The picture here shows 16, which in not really enough to make a bag! |
