1. Download and print the test page.
2. Download the e-pattern by clicking on the "Download Now" button. 3. Save the e-pattern to your desktop by clicking on the "Save button". 4. Run the e-pattern on your computer by double clicking on the icon (pattern.exe). 5. Windows Vista DOES NOT open the cart correctly, and how to get around it. Click on the "Purchase Now" proceed through the purchasing process. 6. Wait for your Password. 7. Open the e-pattern, enter the password, the pattern is open. 8. Printing the e-pattern. 9. Here is a Test Page that you can download and print to make sure
your computer and printer are compatible with this program.
Please try this test page before you purchase an E-Pattern. There are NO REFUNDS on E-Patterns due to printing problems on your end. |

| 2. Most of the pattern available on the this site are downloadable.
A few pattern are not downloadable because they are designed for components that are hand made. You will find the 
button near the bottom right hand side of the pattern pages. |
| What happens when you click on that
Button?
Your computer should open a program that looks like this!  3.Click on the "Save" button to start the download. |
4. Once you have downloaded the Pattern an Icon link like this
 will be placed on your desktop.
Double Click on that icon (pattern.exe) |
5. When you run the program your computer will open a file that looks like this!
 You will be prompted to purchase a password. Windows Vista DOES NOT open the cart correctly. Until I figure it out, and get some new pages up. The only way to get the cart to recognize the e-pattern when you purchase it is to have something in the cart and open when you use the "purchase now" button in the e-pattern. I just tried this on my computer that has Vista, so I know it works. It's just an odd way to do things, but if you want it, it works. 1. Have the download open. 2. On the web site add something to your cart. Or you can click on this "Add to Cart" button which will add 1 penny to your cart. The PayPal cart will open up with whatever you put in it like you are going to purchase that. 3. With the cart open click on the  in the e-pattern.
That should make the e-pattern show up in the cart. 4. Then there is a box that says "remove" checkmark the box next to the item that you added to make the cart open, then click the "update cart" to remove that item. Then proceed with the purchase. I am really sorry for the hassle that you have to go through at this point, but I will set something up that works better. I'm also working on having the password fed back to people automatically. | 6. After you have successfully placed your order. You will receive a payment confirmation from PayPal with your Pattern Number (this is a 1-3 digit number) and is NOT the password. We will also receive the payment confirmation, and will then email you your password within 48 hours. Basically as soon as we open the email, we will email you with the 7 digit password. I usually Send out the password within 24 hours. I ask for a 48 hour leeway. But if you do not receive the password within 24 hours, I would check your bulk mail! |

7. If you closed the program then all you
need do is open the it by double clicking on the
icon. The same one that you clicked and paid for the password. Click on the little KEY on top where it says "Password" a little box will open and prompt you to put the password in.  Copy and paste the password from the email into the the pop-up box. |

8. Printing is different
for the Bead Graphs than it is for the Patterns. If you have BEAD GRAPH, you can print right away. Click on the PRINT button. that is right next to the Password Key! If you purchased a PATTERN, The first page that shows up, has the items you need to make the kit and a link to purchase a kit if you wish. To Print the pattern: Click on the Content button, then from the drop down menu, click on the Printable Pages. Which will open the printable pages. Then click on the PRINT button which is right next to the Password KEY. |

9. Most common questions and
answers. Question: I downloaded the pattern on my computer at work and paid for it at work. Then when I got home and downloaded it the password I received didn't work. Why not? Answer: The password will only work on the computer that it is paid for on. Question: When I click on the 'purchase now' button in the download. It takes me straight to PayPal without a cart or amount to pay or anything. What do I do? Answer: You probably have Windows Vista and should read #5 on this page: Click Here! Question: When I try and open the program, it say "file is corrupt". What do I do? Answer: Just delete it and download it again. It is say "corrupt" it probably is. Question: I downloaded the pattern, paid for it, and now I can't find it on my computer. What do I do? Answer: You most likely forgot to use the "Save" button when you did the download, or it's in never never land! Either way, just go and download it again. The same password will will if you are on the same computer that you paid for it on. Question: I've copy and pasted the password in several times and it keeps saying "incorrect password". What am I doing wrong? Answer: First if you are not on the same computer that you paid for the pattern not, it's not the right password. The passwords only work on the computer that you paid for it on. If you are on the same computer, then you're may not doing anything wrong at all. I might have sent you the wrong password! it happens occasionally, I do make mistakes. I am working on making it automated, but I haven't gotten it there yet. |
